Breathing Apparatus
Breathing Apparatus - Awareness
A four hour introductory course for personnel whose role may require them to occasionally wear BA in a low hazard environment or in a situation where they may have to utilise BA to shut down processes or escape from an irrespirable atmosphere.

Confined Space
Confined Space Entry – Awareness
A short course designed for personnel who may have to work in or around free entry confined spaces or whose role in the work place requires knowledge of the hazards associated with confined spaces. During the course participants are given an introduction to equipment such as harnesses and PPE used when entering confined spaces. Knowledge learnt by attending this course would allow the participant to participate in the compilation of a JSA involving work in confined spaces.

Confined Space Entry – including Breathing Apparatus and Rescue
A comprehensive course designed for personnel whose role could include filling the role of a Stand By Person or member of a Rescue Team wearing breathing apparatus. Participants attending this course need to be physically capable of strenuous effort for the practical components and capable of wearing self contained breathing apparatus. A CPR module is included in this course.

Marine Fire Fighting – Basic
A two day course designed to provide the fundamentals of ship board fire prevention, fire detection and fire extinguishment utilising fire extinguishing equipment commonly installed on ships of various sizes. Course content includes the use of respiratory equipment and the appropriate tactics to use in ship board fire fighting.

Marine Fire Fighting – Advanced
An advanced course designed to enhance and build on the Marine Fire Fighting – Basic course. Emphasis during this course is placed on the roles of the vessels Officers and damage control team leader with heavy concentration on the importance of communication during any ship board emergency. Successful completion of the Basic course is a pre requisite for this course.
