Common Safety Training Program - CSTP
25 December 2011
The Common Safety Training Program (CSTP) is a safety improvement initiative instigated by the Australian Petroleum Production and Exploration Association (APPEA), of which your organisation is currently a member. The CSTP was developed to improve the level of safety behaviour demonstrated in the workplace. Initially targeted at new entrants to the oil and gas industry, CSTP is also applicable to more experienced offshore/onshore production and drilling personnel as well as the rapidly emerging new areas such as coal seam gas industry. All new entrants must hold this qualification from 1 January 2012!
