Internationally accredited OPITO Training available now in Melbourne!

The new Red Alert Emergency Training Centre (ETC) based in Altona is a state of the art OPITO accredited facility catering for onshore/offshore petroleum industry personnel and all persons who regularly fly in helicopters over water.

Our Trainers have extensive experience in helicopter operations and sea survival in Bass Strait and Emergency Services and participants need no previous experience to successfully complete this vital safety training.

The ETC facilities include fully equipped training rooms, state of the art helicopter simulators, warm and cold pools, launching and winching platforms and a 26 man TEMPSC (Totally Enclosed Motor Powered Survival Capsule). Cold water Immersion Suits and EBS are also available for use.

Also offered is a one day PMA08 accredited HUET (Helicopter Underwater Escape Training) and Sea Survival Course for persons not requiring one of the more comprehensive OPITO courses. This training is suited to Television News Crews and Reporters, Emergency Services Personnel, Helicopter Operators and irregular visitors to offshore facilities. A customised program is also available for fixed wing operators, sailors and pleasure craft operators.

The RAA Emergency Training Centre is ideally located close to three airports and the CBD and is also an excellent team building training facility when combined with the adjacent extensive confined space, height safety and rescue areas.
